The Cheadle Academy is now CLOSED

Uniform

Students no longer need to attend in uniform and need to wear sensible clothing. This will support the regular washing of clothes during the week.

Students working from home

Teachers will still use Class Charts as the method to support home learning.  The work will become more targeted to teaching groups and staff will be available by their academy email to support student learning

Teachers may not be able respond instantly if they are supporting the children of critical workers in school or are indeed ill themselves.

We will continue to update parents when we receive any further information from the government on when we will open again

Please be aware that critical workers need care only on those days that they need to work

Advice to parents on talking with students

For those students that we are supervising for key workers the following still applies:-

You are advised to:-
Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms
Stay at home for 14 days if you or anyone in your family household have either:
• a high temperature (37.8º or above)
or
• a new continuous cough
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.
Read the government advice about staying at home ,i.e., self-isolation and its more detailed guidance about staying at home.
____________
Urgent advice: use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if:
• you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
• your condition gets worse
• your symptoms do not get better after 7 days
Only call 111 if you cannot get help online.
