All applications to Year 7 at The Cheadle Academy are handled through your own Local Authority.

Application process for families of children currently at High School

Application Procedures:

If you have moved into the area or wish to move your child to the academy from a different school then please contact us directly.

To truly appreciate all that our academy has to offer, you must visit us in person for a guided tour during a normal academy working day. This is part of our admissions process as we want to give you and your child the chance to see the positive learning environment we have here and to ensure that this transfer is right for you and we have all the information we need for a successful start. You can pick up a Cheadle Academy application form at the end of your tour.

(Please note that we do not accept SCC application forms for in year transfers as we are our own admissions authority).

 Steps

1 - Please contact the academy on 01538 493900 to arrange a tour

2- Collect an application form before you leave

3- Submit your completed application to the school reception as soon as possible following your visit with all the correct information attached. 

4- A decision will then be made and you will be contacted by our admissions team. 

5- If you are applying to a year group that is oversubscribed you will be placed on our waiting list if your application is successful.
