The teaching staff at the Moorlands College are drawn from the most experienced A Level teachers from the three schools in the Moorlands Partnership, as well as those who specialise in post-16 teaching and learning who are based solely at the College. This unique provision means that students from the three schools have some continuity with staff that know them well and, in addition, meet a wide range of other students and new teachers. Students join us from other soon integrated into this stimulating learning environment.
To achieve admissions into the Moorlands Sixth Form students must achieve a minimum of 5 higher grades at GCSE, including mathematics and English. In addition to these minimum requirements to achieve admission into the Moorlands Sixth form subjects will have their own grade requirements outlined in the course guide (this can be found at http://www.moorlandscollege.co.uk/)
The Moorland Sixth Form offers a range of qualifications including A/S Levels, A2 Levels, BTEC Diplomas and the Business, Administration and Finance Diploma.
Entry to the Moorlands Sixth Form is on the basis of students achieving at least 5 GCSE's (or equivalents) at grade C or above
